Star Nursing Agency makes available a wide range of courses for its members, to ensure that their skills are regularly updated and the highest level of care and good practice continues to be delivered.

INDUCTION

All successful candidates must attend a one-day induction program, which covers

    1. Basic care skills
    2. Explain their roles and responsibilities
    3. Employment terms and conditions signed copies are kept in staff file
    4. How the service operates
    5. Explains our policy and procedures
    6. Giving induction pack relevant to service provider
    7. Standard and code of practice
TRAINING and PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT

Our Recruitment officer meets with each agency worker on one to one basis to

    1. Discuss Staff work
    2. Review any clinical practice and overall standard of performance
    3. Discuss any issues arising
    4. Identify staff training and development needs
    5. Give feed backs on complaints and critical incidents

Mandatory training course date

    1. Basic life support (CPR)
    2. Moving and handling.
BASIC ADULT LIFE SUPPORT

This one-day course will provide all of the theoretical and practical instructions to practice life saving basic life support in adults
