All applicants selected for registration with Star Nursing and care services will be required to complete an application form, applicants will also be required to supply the following documentation.
In addition to the above all applicants are required to complete a self assessment ‘skills checklist’ The information provided will, in part, form the basis upon which further assessments are made at any subsequent interview. They will also need to complete an Occupational Health Pre-employment health check form and an Equal Opportunities Monitoring Form.
Applications will be assessed by a suitably qualified Consultant against the minimum requirements set by the Agency as determined by the job description and person specification.
Where these minimum requirements are met, the applicant will be invited for an interview with one of the Agency’s senior nurses.
Senior nurses undertake face to face interviews on behalf of the Star nursing and care services and are fully trained and conversant in interviewing skills.
The interviewers are able to ask the Agency Worker questions relevant to their qualifications, competencies, clinical experience, training and skills.
